This mural in Community Works’ San Francisco location is dedicated to children of incarcerated parents. It was designed in collaboration with Project WHAT (We’re Here and Talking). I facilitated a co-design workshop to generate ideas for the mural, proposed two options, and the final design was selected by the youth program participants.

In 2024, The Fig Leaf Tattoo hosted a mural workshop led by artist Ian Robertson-Salt. After learning about the process of designing, creating, and preserving murals, participants got hands-on experience with painting a mural outside of the tattoo shop. The hummingbird and flower section pictured below is one that I painted.
